He was arrested on 14/10/2014 and forcibly disappeared for three weeks at the National Security in Zagazig, during which time he was subjected to psychological and physical torture. After that, he appeared in the first department of Zagazig, pending 4 cases on charges of protesting. He was released pending the four cases, but he was not released, as he was placed and accused in 8 cases. He was sentenced in 5 cases with a total of 23 years military prison sentences.
