The victim was arrested from Tahrir Square on March 1, 2019, to remain forcibly disappeared in Al-Jabal Al-Ahmar Camp until her appearance on March 9, 2019 in Case No. 488 of 2019 Supreme State Security, to be renewed until she obtained a release with precautionary measures on September 10, 2019. Precautionary measures were lifted on March 3, 2020.

During the period of her disappearance and detention, she was subjected to several violations, most notably torture and electric shocks. Her lawyer was also prevented from attending the first interrogation session with her. She was accused of participating with a terrorist group in one of the activities of that group, using social media to promote the ideas of that group, and spreading false news. .
