The victim was arrested on June 4, 2019, from a street in the city of Kafr al-Dawwar in Beheira Governorate. He was taken to an unknown destination, and until now he has been subjected to enforced disappearance and has not been presented to any investigative body.

His family said that they had submitted numerous reports to the official authorities, and had tried to reach his whereabouts, in light of the Ministry of Interior’s complete denial of his arrest, despite the presence of eyewitnesses to the incident, which was carried out by security men from Beheira Governorate, some of whom were wearing official police uniforms, and others were wearing uniforms. Civilian, and ended with him being taken into a waiting microbus.

The victim was arrested twice in the past, first in 2014 for 6 months, and again in 2016 for three months.
