He was arrested on 02-02-2017 from a student dormitory and was subjected to enforced disappearance for more than a month, during which he was subjected to psychological and physical torture. He was accused of joining the Muslim Brotherhood, and was placed on Case No. 616 of 2017, restricting the security of his country, and they deported him to Istiqbal Tora prison. It is reported that he was prohibited from visiting for a year and a half until he was released on 01-05-2018, but was subjected to enforced disappearance again for 40 days, during which he was tortured. Until he appeared at the Abu Kabir police station. He is in pretrial detention so far.
