The victim was arrested after his home in Qalyubia Governorate was stormed by a security force in civilian clothes, consisting of 10 members of the National Security Forces, and he was taken to an unknown destination on April 22, 2024.

His family took all legal measures by sending telegrams about his arbitrary arrest to the Office of the Public Prosecutor and the Minister of Interior.

This is not the first time that the victim has been subjected to arrest, as he was previously subjected to the crime of enforced disappearance on June 19, 2019 by the security forces in Sharkia Governorate, before he appeared and was presented to the prosecution and obtained his release after he was acquitted.
