- Summary
The victim was arrested from his home on 10/13/2015 by a force from the National Security and was forcibly disappeared until 11/9/2015 at the National Security headquarters in Zagazig, after which he appeared in case No. 247, Eastern Military District, for the year 2016.
The victim was sentenced to 7 years in prison from 8/23/2021 and was accused in the case of joining a terrorist group. After the expiry of the sentence on 11/9/2022, he was transferred to Faqus Police Station to complete his release procedures, but he was forcibly disappeared for the second time on 11/11/2022. From 11-2022 to 2-1-2023 at the headquarters of the Zagazig Security Forces, after which he appeared in case No. 101, Faqus misdemeanor case for the year 2023, on charges of distributing leaflets, and he is in pretrial detention until now.
The victim is currently detained at the Tenth of Ramadan Security Forces headquarters and is allowed one visit per month. He complains of poor detention conditions, as he is detained in a room with about 17 people. He is also suffering from health problems and is in need of an MRI, which the authorities have not provided for him yet.
