The victim was arrested on January 24, 2018, and was subjected to enforced disappearance for 10 days. Then he was investigated before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in connection with Case No. 420 of 2017, the Supreme State Security, known in the media as the “Hasm 2” case.

The victim was 15 years old at the time of his arrest. The prosecution charged him with joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its purposes, participating in the killing of officers and police officers, and possessing a firearm and ammunition.

The victim was listed on terrorist lists for five years, and the military court ruled that there was no state jurisdiction to hear the case regarding the victim. In July 2022, the case was copied to a new case bearing No. 1042 of 2022, Supreme State Security, and he is the only defendant in pretrial detention.
