The child Bilal was born on November 1, 2003, and he was arrested with his twin brother at dawn on January 3, 2020, at the age of 16, in connection with a case known in the media as “The Joker.” He was interrogated before the Supreme State Security Prosecution after he was forcibly disappeared for more than 50 days until he was referred. The case for trial On January 15, 2023, the Cairo Criminal Court, First Circuit Terrorism, headed by Judge Mohamed Saeed El-Sherbiny, sentenced Bilal and 23 others to 5 years in prison in Case No. 1357 of 2019 of the Supreme State Security, registered with No. 195 of 2021 in New Cairo.
