The victim was arrested on October 20, 2023, along with others, after participating in demonstrations in support of the Palestinian cause. He was investigated in connection with Case No. 2468 of 2023, and he is still detained.
Mudathir announced in a letter to his family at the end of August 2024 that he had entered into a hunger strike in his prison cell in the 10th of Ramadan Prison, for several reasons, most notably the prevention of exercise, restrictions on visits, and the court’s failure to allow him to give his statements during the renewal of his detention, and this is the fifth time in a row.
Update April 8: A decision was issued by the Supreme State Security Prosecution to release him.
