The victim was arrested on June 13, 2023 from his home by a security force consisting of 5 individuals, after a phone call to his mother informing her of the need for him to come to the “Mit Nama” police station for security follow-up.

The victim was subjected to enforced disappearance for 58 days until he appeared before the Public Prosecution in Qalyub, which investigated him in Case No. 13034 of 2023 Qalyub Center Misdemeanor, registered under No. 869 of 2023, the investigation of the Qalyub Prosecution Office, and decided to release him on guarantee of his place of residence.

Update: The victim was not released, and his attorney submitted a report to the Public Prosecutor on August 15, demanding his release and an investigation into his disappearance, despite the issuance of a release decision.

Update: The victim was investigated on September 2, 2023 in connection with Case No. 3117 of 2023, Kafr Shukr Administrative Office, and the prosecution charged him with joining a terrorist group.

Update: The victim was investigated on February 26, 2024, after he appeared at the State Security Prosecution, in case No. 165 of 2024, Supreme State Security Investigation. The prosecution decided to detain him for 15 days pending investigation, and accordingly he was transferred again.
