Summary

He was arrested on November 19, 2021, after a National Security officer called him and requested his presence in National Security Headquarters in Amiriyah, and since that day he was subjected to enforced disappearance until December 6 of the same year. He was accused of possessing publications and obtained a release on April 20, 2022 but was recycled on Case No. 1222 of 2022 State Security. He suffers from poor conditions of detention, as he is a heart patient and meniscus rupture. He is still being held in pretrial detention in Al-Qanater prison.
