He was arrested from the street on 27-08-2017 by being lured to someone who works with him. He was forcibly hidden in the Talkha Thani police station, where he was hidden there for three days, and then he was deported to the National Security headquarters in Blazoghly, Cairo Governorate, and remained under enforced disappearance for three months and ten days. Until he appeared in the Supreme State Security Prosecution in the Fifth Settlement, and he was placed on Case No. 760 of 2017 State Security Inventory, and Case No.123/year 2018/Military/Criminal/East Cairo and it is reported that he suffers from poor conditions of detention and was held in solitary confinement and was tortured during enforced disappearance and is prohibited from visiting
