Journalist Manal Ajrama, deputy editor-in-chief of Radio and Television Magazine, was arrested on November 1, 2022. She appeared two days later in the Supreme State Security Prosecution pending Case No. 1893 of 2022. She was accused of belonging to a terrorist group and financing it, incitement to commit a terrorist act, Participation in a criminal agreement intended to commit a terrorist act, and the use of social media in the crime of promoting a terrorist act. The victim complains of being locked in a cell with female criminal prisoners, who are imprisoned like her in publishing and opinion cases in Qanater prison. She also complains of the continued intransigence of the prison administration by refraining from Handing her some medicines and supplies necessary for her health condition, especially the effects of serious surgeries on the spine and the leg, as well as some necessary clothes, books and a radio.
