He was arrested from the street on 20/10/2019 while on his way to work. He was forcibly disappeared for 7 months, during which he suffered physical and psychological torture. He then appeared in the State Security Prosecution in Cairo in connection with Case 1470 of 2019 State Security Report. After investigation, he was transferred to Banha Police Department and transferred after a while to Istiqbal Tora Prison. The detainee suffers from poor conditions of detention and medical neglect, as he suffers from a stroke on the left side of his face, affecting the nerves in his left hand.
