Belbeis Prosecution decided to release the cassation lawyer and human rights defender, Mr. Jouda Muhammad Azab Ibrahim, pending Case No. 1835 of 2022 Belbeis Felony.

Jouda remained in pretrial detention for the fourth year in a row. He is 51 years old. He is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association, a lawyer at the Cassation, Constitutional and Supreme Administrative Courts. He was arrested by Sharqia security forces from his home located in the Belbeis Center in Sharqia Governorate on April 29, 2019.

Although he obtained orders to release him three previous times, he was subjected to manipulation and forced disappearance.
