The victim was arrested on October 29, 2023, in front of one of the radiology centers in Cairo. He was interrogated before the Supreme State Security Prosecution the next day in connection with Case No. 2468 of 2023. The prosecution ordered his detention for 15 days.

The case in which the victim is detained is related to demonstrations that took place in central Cairo in support of Palestine, where dozens were arrested and investigated in connection with the same case.

Update April 8: A decision was issued by the Supreme State Security Prosecution to release him.
