He was arrested from his house on 6th of May 2014 and subjected to enforced disappearance until 17th of May 2014. He appeared in the Public Prosecution Office pending Case No. 383 of 2014 State Security and was accused of joining a terrorist group. He was put on Case No. 1551 of 2018 and obtained a release, But was not implemented and he was rotated again on Case 810 of 2020 State Security. He is being held in pretrial detention in Tora Istiqbal prison.
