The victim works as an economic researcher and owner of “Alef” bookstores. He was arrested on June 15, 2019 from his home, and the prosecution decided to detain him pending case No. 930 of 2019 limiting the investigation of a higher state security, which was later known as the “Coalition of Hope” case, until he was released. He was released on August 7, after more than 4 years of pre-trial detention, based on the intervention of the Amnesty Committee.
