The victim was arrested on 11-8-2015 from his private shop by a police force from the Mashtoul Al-Souq Police Station, and was presented to the Military Prosecution on 11-9-2015 pending a ruling in absentia to 15 years’ imprisonment in Case No. 114, partial and restricted military felonies. No. 382 military for the year 2015.
His trial procedures were repeated and the sentence was reduced to 7 years. He served his prison term until the sentence expired on 11-9-2022, after which he was transferred to Mashtoul Al-Souq Police Station for his release.
Instead of being released, he was forcibly disappeared for 45 days in an unknown detention facility, after which he appeared in a new case bearing No. 1986, Zagazig Criminal Code for the year 2022, in which he was accused of belonging to a terrorist group. He is currently detained in Mashtoul Al-Souq police station and suffers from poor detention conditions, as the number of detainees in the place Large, up to 35 people in a room, with poor ventilation, poor food, and no exercise.
