The victim, 37 years old, holds a doctorate in clinical pharmacy. He was arrested on November 6, 2018 and has been subjected to enforced disappearance since that date until now.

According to the victim’s family, the last contact with him confirmed to his family that he was on his way home and was in the Ramses area in Cairo. Shortly thereafter, his mobile phone was turned off, communication with him was cut off, and he has not been brought before any of the investigating authorities yet.

His family took all necessary legal measures to report his forced disappearance. They sent telegrams to the relevant authorities and filed a lawsuit requiring the Minister of Interior to disclose his whereabouts, without receiving any response.
