- Summary
He was arrested on 04-07-2014 when he was leaving a mosque in the Alf Maskan area from a group of thugs and assaulted him with white weapons and took him to Ain Shams police station to be severely beaten by a number of security personnel in the station. The department transferred him on the same night to Heliopolis Hospital, where he was placed in the intensive care unit with guards. The Public Prosecution interrogated him in the hospital, despite his presence in the intensive care unit. He remained in the hospital for 15 days and was transferred to Ain Shams department on 22-07-2014 pending case No. 14340 on charges of joining a terrorist group, sabotaging public facilities and possessing a firearm. After a while, he was deported to Tora prison, where he suffered from poor conditions of detention, medical neglect and solitary confinement. He was deported to the new Minya Liman prison in 2019 and was sentenced to 25 years.
