- Summary
He was arrested on September 9, 2016 from a police ambush. He was subjected to enforced disappearance for two months at the National Security headquarters in Asyut and Lazoghly, during which time he was subjected to torture and electric shocks. He was charged in connection with Case No. 64 of 2016 Military, known in the media as the attempt to assassinate the Assistant of Public Prosecutor, and he was sentenced to 5 years in prison in March 2019, and the sentence finished in March 202, but he was rotated again after an enforced disappearance for a month, and he obtained a release in August 2022, but he was recycled again in case No. 238 of 2022, the Supreme State Security, on charges of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news. He suffers from poor conditions of detention and medical negligence, as he suffers from chest allergies and stomach ulcers. He is still imprisoned until now in Badr Al Jadeed Prison 3.
