The victim was arrested with her father and sister from their car on the Alexandria Desert Road, on September 17, 2015, and they were subjected to enforced disappearance and torture. Her father was released, and the “victim” was sentenced to life in prison in a military case. Her sister, Rana, was imprisoned for three years and was released after serving her sentence.
The victim was subjected to severe torture at the National Security headquarters and was threatened with rape, and her sister, "Rana", was tortured with electricity until it reached the point that her left hand was not moving normally now.
