The victim is a lawyer who was arrested on February 6, 2017 at a checkpoint on the Cairo-Ismailia road while traveling to perform his work.

He was subjected to enforced disappearance for 25 days, then he was investigated by the Public Prosecution, on a case of politically charged charges, and he obtained a decision to release him, but it was not implemented and he was transferred again.

On December 4, 2019, the victim was brought before the Supreme State Security Prosecution for the second time on Case No. 750 of 2019, and he is still in pretrial detention pending the case until now.
