- Summary
The victim was arrested from the Ataba metro station on 7/21/2015 and was forcibly disappeared at the National Security headquarters in Abbasiya from the date of his arrest until 4/18/2016. He was subjected to physical and psychological torture while he was hidden.
He was investigated on 4/18/2016 in connection with Case No. 247, Eastern Military District, for the year 2016, and he was sentenced to 7 years in prison on 8/23/2021. After the end of the sentence, he was not released, but was transferred to a new case, No. 2003, Qalyoub Misdemeanors, for the year. In 2023, he was not released either, but he was recycled for the second time pending Case No. 1973, a high-level international security case for the year 2023, on charges of joining a terrorist group, and he is currently in pre-trial detention.
The victim is currently imprisoned in the 10th of Ramadan Prison, and his family complains about the poor inspection of the visit and the entry of insufficient quantities of food. The victim suffers from health problems in the back and problems with the nerves of the extremities, and the family cannot bring him medicines, and he suffers from the lack of adequate medical care inside his detention facility.
