The victim is 54 years old, from Qaleen Center in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and he is imprisoned pending case No. 1940 of 2023 in Burj Al-Arab prison in Alexandria.

The victim is exposed to medical negligence in his prison, where he suffers from major health problems, as the efficiency of the heart's work reaches only 30%, in addition to his diabetes and high blood pressure, which requires him to obtain the necessary medical and health care.

On May 27, 2023, the victim obtained an acquittal for the second time pending a case of a political nature. Instead of ending the procedures for his release, the security services forcibly disappeared him for days before he was transferred to a new case, interrogated, imprisoned, and deported to Burj Al-Arab prison in Alexandria.
