The victim was arrested with her son on April 3, 2016, after which she was subjected to enforced disappearance. She then appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in connection with a fabricated case and was charged with possessing weapons and publications. She was then sentenced to 10 years in prison.

The 55-year-old victim suffers from chronic diseases in her prison, does not receive her right to treatment, and has suffered from medical negligence since her arrest.
