The victim, 25 years old, was arrested on Thursday, June 8, after he left one of the analysis laboratories in Qalyubia Governorate. He was taken to the National Security headquarters in Shubra Al-Khaimah, and he was presented to the investigation authorities after he was forcibly disappeared for about 8 days, pending a retrial of his trial in case No. 146 of the year. 2017 military, in which he was previously sentenced to 5 years in prison in absentia, and there were reports that he was tortured by National Security officers during his disappearance at the National Security headquarters in Shubra Al-Khaimah.

The victim was previously arrested in January 2015 for a period of two years, and he was interrogated on the basis of report No. 662 of 2015, the first Shubra Al-Khaimah administration, on several charges, including joining a group established in violation of the law. He will be released after two years with precautionary measures pending investigations into the case.
