At dawn on August 17, 2013, the National Security Forces knocked on the door and arrested him from his house and took him to Port Said prison, then he was transferred to Gamasa prison, then he was expelled to Tora Investigation prison, and as a result of the poor ventilation, sleeping on the floor and poor detention conditions, he got infected with Hepatitis C. In Case No. 137 of 2014 Felonies of the Arab Division, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison and was sentenced in another case known as Party Headquarters Case No. 5199 of 2012 restricted to No. 1493 of 2012 with 15 years of imprisonment. he is serving his time in Tora prison.
