The victim was arrested on July 1, 2024 and was subjected to enforced disappearance for a week until he was interrogated before the Supreme State Security Prosecution on July 7, 2024.

The victim was charged with joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and abusing social media, in Case No. 2810 of 2024.

The victim, a dentist, works as a teaching assistant and assistant lecturer at Future University. He was arrested after posting on his personal page on the social networking site Facebook posts commenting on the current economic conditions of the country and the deterioration it has led to.
