He was arrested on 02-04-2017 from home. Since that time he has been rotated on more than 6 different cases and has been subjected to enforced disappearance more than 5 times after obtaining a release on more than 5 cases, but it was never implemented. The Court of Cassation issued a verdict, acquitted him in Case No. 3557 of 2013 in South Zagazig on December 15, 2020, after he served a 3-year hard labor sentence in Wadi El Natrun 440 high security prison. He was presented to the prosecution on April 18, 2022, pending case No. 11755 of 2022, Minya al-Qamh, after he was scheduled to be released on March 12, 2022, but it was not implemented.
