- Summary
He was threatened with the arrest of his brother if he did not turn himself in. On August 8, he went to El Zawya El Hamraa Police Department and was arrested and subjected to enforced disappearance until October 31, 2017. He was accused of joining a terrorist group, possessing a weapon and cartridges, and promoting the ideas of terrorist groups. He obtained a release on December 8, 2018, pending case No. 94 of 2017, but it was not implemented, and he was subjected to enforced disappearance and recycling. On March 11, 2019, he obtained a release, but he was subjected to enforced disappearance he was recycled again when he appeared, pending case 42 of 2019 . He obtained a release for the third time on November 30, 2019, but it was not implemented, and he remained in Nasr City police department until December 17, and since that day he is under enforced disappearance. It is reported that he has Down syndrome since his childhood and suffers from poor conditions of detention and deliberate medical neglect against him. Although he obtained a release in all the cases in which he was accused, but he is still subject to enforced disappearance.
