The victim was arrested on January 28, 2011 while participating in the events of the January 25 revolution in Tahrir Square, and has been subjected to enforced disappearance since that date.

The victim, 35 years old, graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Helwan University. His family submitted all necessary reports and requests to disclose his place of detention and release him without obtaining clear information about his whereabouts.
