The victim was arrested on August 1, 2023, from his home, and was detained for about 23 days in a police station without being presented to an investigative body, until he was interrogated on August 23 before the Supreme State Security Prosecution pending case No. 1978 of 2023.

The victim was transferred to the Tenth of Ramadan Prison for men, and his family says that he was arrested before and was released among those released based on the intervention of the “Pardon Committee.” He is 61 years old and suffers from chronic diseases.
