- Summary
Anas was arrested three times, the first was on October 27, 2014, while he was leaving Suez University, to be sentenced to 3 years and and he was arbitrary accused for protesting in case No. 6515 of 2014 Suez misdemeanour, and after submitting a complaint due to his health conditions, he was released from pretrial detention pending the case. To return and be arrested in 2016 for a month on charges of spreading false news, of which he was acquitted, and Finally he was forcibly disappeared on the 1st of June,2021, to appear in the Old Cairo Prosecution of the Zeinhom Prosecution Office on July 17, 2021, to be charged with spreading false news and put him in custody until January 13, 2022, when The Public Prosecution released him on financial bail, pending case No. 7666 of 2021, misdemeanours of Old Egypt, for which he may be re-arbitrarily remanded in custody again. He is now awaiting implementation of a ruling in Case No. 6515 of 2014 Suez misdemeanour, where the appeal submitted by him to overturn the judgment was rejected.
