The victim was arrested on May 25, 2016, when he was a high school student at the time and did not take exams due to his arrest.

The victim's family says that since the date of his arrest, he has not been brought before any investigating authority and has been forcibly disappeared ever since.

His family has sent telegrams to the Attorney General and the Minister of Interior over the past years without receiving any response.

He was previously arrested twice when he was 15 and 16 years old. Security forces arrested him while he was in the first year of secondary school from his home in July 2015. The prosecution charged him with burning a police station. He was detained in the Banha security forces camp for two months until his release in September 2015. In the same year, security forces arrested him again on 12/6/2015, and he was released in February 2016.
