He was arrested on 17/11/2017 from a police ambush due to a verbal altercation with an officer after he asked him about his driving license, and after half an hour a microbus came with people in civilian clothes and took him and he was forcibly hidden inside the National Security Building in Nasr City and appeared on 10/1/2018 At the Public Prosecution Office, he was subsequently transferred to Al-Aqrab prison, from which he was transferred to Liman Prison, Minya, and was placed on Case 160 of 2018, and was sentenced to life imprisonment and the appeal was rejected.
