He was arrested on October 30, 2016 from his home and forcibly disappeared for 45 days, during which he suffered psychological and physical torture and poor conditions of detention. He appeared in the Public Prosecution Office pending case No. 799 of 2016 limiting the security of his country. He was deported to Tora prison and was subjected to solitary confinement between 2016 and 2018 and was sentenced to three years in prison. He was transferred to Minya prison after the sentence and after the expiry of the sentence, he was transferred to the Marg department for his release, but he was forcibly disappeared again until he appeared in the State Security Prosecution in a month 3-2020 pending case No. 810 of 2019, and it is reported that he has been prohibited from visiting since 8-2020
