The victim was arrested on February 28, 2015 and was forcibly disappeared for more than a week before being presented to the prosecution. He was then finally sentenced to 10 years in prison in a case on charges of a political nature.

The victim suffers from several health problems in his confinement in Gamasa high-security prison, including severe visual impairment, severe cartilage pain, and severe tooth decay, but the prison administration does not respond to his treatment.
