The victim was arrested on June 2, 2015, and was subjected to enforced disappearance for two weeks before being brought before the military prosecution, and placed in Case No. 175 of 2015 Military Felonies, West Cairo.

The prosecution charged him with “disclosing a defense secret” for providing one of the defendants with information about a security officer at the military factory where he worked. Despite the court’s confirmation that the information was false, the military court sentenced him to 25 years in prison.
