The victim, a young lawyer, was arrested on Friday, May 9, 2025, from his office in the Matariya district of Cairo Governorate. He was taken to an unknown location and has not yet been brought before any investigative body. Security authorities continue to deny his whereabouts and deny him all his legal rights.

Update: Registered before the Supreme State Security Agency on June 10, 2025, pursuant to Case No. 3862, Decision No. 2025, State Security confined him to a public place for raising a banner in solidarity with Gaza.
