He was arrested on 09-09-2017 from the Zamzam area, Al-Dawahi neighborhood in Port Said. He was subjected to enforced disappearance until he was brought before the Public Prosecution office on 12-10-2017, pending Case No.900 of 2017, limiting the security of his country. He is now in pretrial detention in Tora Istiqbal prison. It is reported that he suffers from poor conditions of detention and medical neglect, as he suffers from allergic rhinitis and GERD.
