He was arrested while returning from work to his place of residence on 16-08-2018. He was forcibly disappeared for 10 days, then appeared in the Al-Fateh Mosque events case, and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. He spent that period and a decision was taken to deport him from the country, but we do not know if it was implemented or not. Mohamed had come to Egypt and obtained a residence permit for 3 months and was arrested two months after his arrival in Egypt.
