The victim (38 years old) died inside the 15 May police station in Helwan hours after his arrest, amid suspicions of torture, as his family noticed clear signs of injuries on his body, despite an initial medical report stating that the death was due to a sudden heart attack, which prompted the prosecution to refer the body to the Zeinhom morgue for autopsy to determine the true cause of death.
