The victim was arrested on May 28, 2020 and remained in hiding for a month until he appeared at the Supreme State Security Prosecution on June 27, 2020.

The victim was investigated in Case No. 680 of 2020, Supreme State Security, and the prosecution charged the young journalist with joining a terrorist group, publishing false news and data, and misusing social media. He was detained pending the case.

The victim worked as a judicial editor and had many reports on the prosecution’s statements, in several press reports that he published on press websites.
