The victim was arrested on 7/12/2021 by a National Security force after they stormed his house, searched it, and confiscated some of his private property.

The victim was presented to the prosecution the day immediately after his arrest in connection with Case No. 965, State Security Case No. 2021, in which he was accused of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.

The victim was subjected to a number of violations during his imprisonment, including torture through physical assault while entering Abu Zaabal Prison. He also complained while he was in 10th of Ramadan Prison about the limited amount of food provided to detainees and the absence of most food products in the prison cafeteria.

The victim was previously arrested on 1/25/2011 and was released without being brought before the prosecution on 1/28/2011. He was arrested again on 1/25/2013 and was released on 4/5/2013, before being arrested. He is arrested again on 7-12-2021 so far.
