She was arrested from her home on 25-09-2018 and subjected to enforced disappearance for 4 months until she appeared in the Supreme State Security Prosecution. She was transferred to the Alexandria Security Directorate and remained there until March 2019. She was transferred to Al-Qanater Women Prison, where she suffers from poor conditions of detention, deliberate medical neglect, and suffers from pneumonia, chest allergies, and severe anemia. She is in pretrial detention so far on case no.277/year 2019.
