On 5 July 2021, the Working Group transmitted, jointly with other special procedure mechanisms, an allegation letter concerning human rights violations allegedly committed against a group of activists belonging to the Tzotzil indigenous community in the State of Chiapas, including executions, kidnappings and torture.31 86. On 21 July 2021, the Working Group transmitted, jointly with other special procedure mechanisms, an allegation letter concerning the revocation of a conviction against five members of the navy accused of the enforced disappearance of Armando Humberto del Bosque Villareal, in the State of Nuevo León.32 Mozambique Urgent procedure 87. Under its urgent procedure, the Working Group transmitted one case to the Government concerning Ntamuhanga Cassien, who was allegedly arrested at his place of residence on 23 May 2021 by two uniformed police officers from the Inhaca police station and four agents of the intelligence service. Myanmar Standard procedure 88. The Working Group announced in September 2019 that it would start documenting violations tantamount to enforced or involuntary disappearance allegedly perpetrated by nonState actors.33 Under its standard procedure, it therefore transmitted two cases tantamount to enforced disappearance allegedly perpetrated in territory controlled by the Restoration Council of Shan State34 concerning: (a) Chit Maung Li, who was allegedly abducted on 28 March 2021 by an armed group associated with the Restoration Council of Shan State in Mansa village, Shan State; (b) Ai Nin, who was allegedly abducted on 28 March 2021 by an armed group associated with the Restoration Council of Shan State in Mansa village, Shan State. Nicaragua Urgent procedure 89. Under its urgent procedure, the Working Group transmitted five cases to the Government concerning: (a) Violeta Mercedes Granera Padilla, who was allegedly arrested at her home in the Becklin neighbourhood of Managua on 8 June 2021 by members of the National Police; (b) Daisy Tamara Dávila Rivas, who was allegedly arrested from her home on the road to Masaya on 12 June 2021 by members of the National Police; 30 31 32 33 34 See MEX 11/2021.
