The victim was arrested on January 16, 2025, after he conducted a media interview with the wife of the detainee Ashraf Omar.

He was investigated by the Supreme State Security Prosecution in Case No. 7 of 2025, and was accused of spreading false news, joining a terrorist group, financing a terrorist group, and using an unlicensed website to spread the group’s ideas.

The victim is a member of the Zamalek Club fans association known as the “Ultras White Knights.”

The victim was arrested from her home in Aswan on December 20, 2024, and was subjected to enforced disappearance for several days before being brought before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in Case No. 1282 of 2024.

The last time he was arrested, on February 19, 2015, in the case known in the media as the "Presidential Elections Incidents", No. 625 of 2014, Central Damanhour General Felonies, the victim's life was nearing its end after almost complete liver failure, and his health condition deteriorated during his detention in Damanhour Security Forces Prison, and he was denied medication and food for this medical condition, and he was refused a medical examination.

The victim died, after a long struggle with illness, and his pretrial detention and medical negligence contributed to its exacerbation, on May 6, 2015.

The victim was arrested in February 2020, after security forces arrested him from the funeral of Islamic thinker Dr. Mohamed Amara, and took him to an unknown location.

He appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution, where he was subsequently charged with joining a banned group and promoting its activities, and his arbitrary pretrial detention exceeded five years, in violation of Egyptian procedural law.

On Thursday, October 3, 2024, the victim died in his cell in Badr Prison, at the age of 70, after being detained for nearly five years; as a result of medical negligence and deprivation of health care and treatment.

The victim suffers from health problems, including tumors, that require ongoing medical care, which was not available in her detention facility. In addition, there are reports that she was subjected to physical and psychological abuse during her detention.

The victim is a graphic designer who was arrested on October 20, 2023, for participating in demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people in Alexandria a week before that date.

The Supreme State Security Prosecution investigated him in Case No. 2469 of 2023, accusing him of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and participating in a gathering that could endanger public peace.

The victim was arrested on October 11, 2020, due to some posts he wrote on his Facebook page about the economic situation in the country.

The victim (54 years old), a retired administrative agent at the Social Affairs Directorate, was arrested due to a post on her Facebook account in which she criticized the economic and political conditions in Egypt, and she is currently in the Tenth of Ramadan Prison.

The victim was arrested on June 2, 2015, and was subjected to enforced disappearance for two weeks before being brought before the military prosecution, and placed in Case No. 175 of 2015 Military Felonies, West Cairo.

The prosecution charged him with “disclosing a defense secret” for providing one of the defendants with information about a security officer at the military factory where he worked.
