The victim was arrested after being stopped in one of the Egyptian army's ambushes in Al-Arish on August 15, 2015 at seven in the morning while he was going to work in a marble factory.

His family tells him that he was arrested by members of the ambush and wearing official army clothing, and unofficially the family learned that he was taken to the 101st Battalion and then transferred to Al-Jalaa Camp in Ismailia without being presented to any investigative authorities, which means that he was forcibly disappeared for this entire period.
